Legal & Privacy
How Invoice Guard HQ handles data, provider access, subscription cancellation, and human review.
1. Data privacy & security
Service-only data use: We do not sell, trade, or share your data for advertising purposes. Your data is used to facilitate the service you have requested and to operate Invoice Guard HQ.
No commercial data usage: We use technical processors needed to operate the service, including hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and provider connections you choose to enable.
Local processing: The browser-only pre-scan keeps raw CSV rows in your browser tab for the initial scan. We may record lightweight scan-limit metadata, such as IP address, time, browser timezone, and user agent, to keep free scanning available and prevent abuse.
2. Payment and personal data
Card data: Invoice Guard HQ does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive card authentication data.
Access and deletion: Users may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where applicable.
Restricted access: We use restricted API permissions where possible and never request or store your provider passwords.
3. Subscription & cancellation
Flexible termination: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
Cancellation policy: Upon termination, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. No further payments will be charged following the date of cancellation.
4. Human review
Advisory nature: Invoice Guard HQ is a decision-support tool. It provides risk scores and data organization to assist human judgment. It does not automate payments, move funds, or replace the professional judgment of an accountant or financial officer.
5. Cookies
Always set, because the site cannot work without them: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a security token that protects forms you submit. We also set a cookie recording the advertising choice you make below, so we do not ask again.
Partner attribution: if you arrived through a partner's referral link, a first-party cookie records which partner sent you, so that partner is credited if you later subscribe. This is how we pay people who introduce clients to us, so it is set regardless of your advertising choice. It holds a referral identifier and nothing about you.
Advertising, only if you accept: we run ads and want to know which of them bring people here. Accepting lets Google Ads set cookies that connect your visit to an ad you saw. Declining means those cookies are never set, and everything on this site continues to work identically. You can change your mind by clearing cookies for this site, which brings the choice back.
What we do not do: we do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising cookies to build a profile of you across other companies' websites.
