When does this become mandatory where I am?
  • Belgium: mandatory for B2B since January 2026. einvoice.belgium.be
  • France: every business must be able to receive e-invoices from September 2026, and small companies must issue them from September 2027. service-public.gouv.fr
  • Germany: receiving is already mandatory. Issuing follows in January 2027 above 800k EUR turnover, January 2028 for everyone. BMF E-Rechnung FAQ
  • United States: no law yet, though large buyers and federal agencies already ask suppliers for e-invoices. GSA electronic invoicing
