Give clients an invoice audit with your name on it.
You get one link. Your client opens it, drops in a CSV export, and sees duplicate charges, billing anomalies and currency conversion risk scored with the money at stake. The file never leaves their browser. The result points them back to you.
We approve your link. Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company) approves you as an affiliate and pays your commission. You need both, and they are different applications to different companies. The commission section explains it in full.
What you get
A page at https://invoiceguardhq.com/a/your-firm carrying your business name and, if you supply one, your logo. It runs the same free scan we run on our own site, with two differences: it is branded to you, and the result offers a review with you before it offers anything of ours.
What it costs
- Nothing. There is no fee to hold a link and no minimum volume.
- No account for your clients. They do not sign up, and we do not ask for their email before showing results.
- No installation. It is a web page.
What it is not
- Not a white-label of the whole product. The branded page is the free scan. Paid monitoring is Invoice Guard HQ and is presented as such.
- Not a client workspace. You do not get a dashboard of your clients' data, because we never receive their data.
- Not resale. You do not set the price and you do not handle their payment.
What your client actually sees
They open your link and land on a page headed with your name. There is no sign-up wall in front of the tool.
- They choose a CSV export from their accounting software, a payment provider, or a spreadsheet.
- The scan runs inside their browser tab. Nothing is uploaded.
- They see rows scanned, duplicate candidates, anomaly and conversion checks, high-risk count, and the total money at risk.
- The result offers "Book a review with you" first, and continuous monitoring second.
If you gave us a booking link, the first button goes there. If you did not, the page tells them to send you the numbers instead, so the page never shows a dead button.
Getting set up
- Apply at /partners with your business name, email, and optionally a booking link and logo URL. Both URLs must start with
https. - We review it by hand. The page carries our layout as well as your name, so we check the firm is real. We are not judging your work.
- Sign up as a Lemon Squeezy affiliate and send us your affiliate ID. This is the step that makes commission possible.
- We switch the link on and email you. From then on it is yours.
About your link address
We generate it from your business name, so "Meridian Bookkeeping" becomes /a/meridian-bookkeeping. You do not choose it. That keeps anyone from claiming an address that reads as ours, or as a competitor's, on a page carrying our layout.
How you get paid
30% recurring on every Starter ($19/month) and Pro ($49/month) subscription a client of yours starts, for as long as they stay subscribed. Free audits are not commissionable, because they are free.
Commission is paid entirely by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company), our merchant of record. They handle payouts, tax forms and refunds, and they pay out once your balance passes $10. We could not pay you directly even if we wanted to, and that is deliberate: it means no invoicing us, no chasing us, and no dependence on our cash flow.
The consequence, stated plainly
You must have your own Lemon Squeezy affiliate account, and we need its affiliate ID on your record before any sale can be credited to you. An approved link without that ID still works and still gets tracked, but it earns nothing, and nothing earned before the ID is added can be backdated. Lemon Squeezy cannot retroactively attribute a sale that was never tagged.
If you are not sure whether we have your ID, ask before you start sending clients.
Becoming a Lemon Squeezy affiliate
Two approvals, both inside Lemon Squeezy, and neither is ours:
- Lemon Squeezy vets you. You create an Affiliate Hub profile and they review it. Until they approve you, you cannot apply to any program on their platform.
- You apply to Invoice Guard HQ and we accept you.
If you already promote another Lemon Squeezy product, you are already vetted and joining ours is one click on your side.
How referrals are tracked
Your client does not have to buy on the first visit. They can run the scan, close the tab, think about it, and come back weeks later.
- 60 days. A visitor who arrives through your link is attributed to you for sixty days, which is roughly how long it takes someone to run an audit, talk to you, and decide.
- First referrer wins. If a client later clicks someone else's affiliate link, you keep the credit. You made the introduction.
- Recurring, not one-off. You are paid on renewals too, not just the first month.
Tracking is per browser, which is how every affiliate program works. A client who scans on their laptop and subscribes on their phone weeks later may not carry the attribution across.
When you are not paid
Worth knowing up front, because finding out afterwards is how partnerships sour:
- No affiliate ID on your record, or an ID we could not read. The link works, the traffic is tracked, the commission is not.
- Sales made before your ID was added. These cannot be backdated.
- Your link is switched off. Attribution stops immediately, not when a cookie expires.
- The client subscribed more than 60 days after their visit, or bought on a different device.
- Refunded or charged-back purchases, per Lemon Squeezy's own terms.
In every one of these cases the client's checkout still works normally. We never fail a purchase to protect a commission.
Data and privacy
This is the part your clients will ask you about, so it is worth being able to answer it directly.
What we never receive
The CSV. The scan parses it in the browser tab. Invoice numbers, customer names, amounts, and the file name never reach us, which is why we cannot show you your clients' findings even if you asked.
What we do record
- That a scan happened, from which partner link, and when.
- Anonymous page analytics: source, device type, timezone, a hashed IP.
- Four funnel steps so you and we can both see whether the link is working: page viewed, scan completed, booking clicked, checkout started.
Removing you as a partner does not delete the historical record that traffic came through you, because that is the evidence of what happened. It stops all future attribution immediately.
How you may not promote us
Short list, and none of it restricts honest promotion:
- No bidding on our brand terms. Not "Invoice Guard", "InvoiceGuard HQ", "invoiceguardhq", misspellings, or any of those plus coupon, discount, promo, code, deal, review, pricing, login, or alternative.
- No use of our name in a display URL, ad headline, domain, or subdomain.
- No paid traffic sent straight to our site. Send it to your own page first.
- No coupon pages. We do not issue discount codes, so a page offering one is advertising something that does not exist.
- No presenting yourself as us. Your page is yours, and should read that way.
Breaking these voids unpaid commission and ends the partnership. We monitor paid auctions for our brand terms.
FAQ
Do my clients know it is your product?
Yes. The page carries your name and logo, and a line at the foot says the audit is run by Invoice Guard HQ on your behalf. We will not help you pass it off as software you built.
Can I see which of my clients ran a scan?
No. We do not ask them who they are, and there is no email gate. You will know because they bring you the numbers, which is the point.
Can I have more than one link?
Not currently. One firm, one link.
Do I need to be a customer to be a partner?
No. Though partners who have run the tool on their own books tend to explain it better.
What happens if I stop?
Tell us and we switch the link off. Anything already earned stays with Lemon Squeezy and pays out normally.
